2025 Warren Central HS Tennis Coaches - Jonn Patterson & Daryl Whitley

This past Saturday, 6/14/25, Warren Central High School's #1 Singles player, Samaya Smith, battled her way from behind to clinch the win to take the IHSAA Girls' Individual Singles State Championship!!  Using her coaching support, explosive power and resiliency under pressure, Samaya, pulled off a sensational comeback to take the State Championship in 3 sets, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.  Her Coaches, none other than CCTC Board Members Jonn Patterson and Daryl Whitley, gave Samaya all the tennis knowledge and experience that they had to give during this season and this Championship match in particular.  Jonn and Daryl can't be prouder nor more thrilled for Samaya and this great accomplishment!  The same can be said of all of CCTC! We can't be prouder nor more thrilled for Samaya, Jonn and Daryl and wish them continued success!  Samaya is just a junior, after all!  Please join us in congratulating all 3!  Let's GO, Warriors!!  Let's GO, CCTC!
